Since 1826, our family has been cultivating white grapevines in a region which was formerly called “Les Grandes Côtes”. Facing south south-west, our oldest plots of grey and white sauvignon are dedicated to the creation of this Wine of France.

Origin of the vineyard goes back from XVII century. In the 1868 edition of “Bordeaux et ses vins”, the vineyard was already quoted among the most famous wines produced in Lussac.

After the First World War (1914-1918), Constant Micheau Maillou was born in 1892 joined a fighting friend in Saint Emilion. He meets the grandmother of Monique and Michel the current owners (born in Lafleur Pétrus).

After 3 generations of work, seriousness and passion, the Micheau Maillou family owns 3 vineyards among the most famous terroirs of Bordeaux including the Château Croix de Vignot, Saint Emilion Grand Cru, located on the high plateau of Saint Emilion, close to thd prestigious wines classified.

This estate was created two centuries ago on the banks of the Dordogne, in Saint Emilion, on the site of the old chapel of Saint Martial, destroyed in 1792. It belongs to the Dupeyrat family since that time.

It was in order to stisfy their wish to offer consumers wines that are a genuine expression by the vines of the soils in which they grow, a kind of picture of their terroir, that albéric and Agnès Florisoone acquired Château du Roc in 2017.

Situated in the heart of Saint-Emilion’s prestigious vineyard slopes and a close neighbour of such famous estates as La Mondotte and Tertre Roteboeuf, Château Godeau was acquired by the Florisoone family at the end of 2012.

Located on Saint Emilion’s limestone plateau, Château Godeau Ducarpe came about through the acquisition of several parcels of vines in typical wine-growings areas of Saint-Emilion.
